IDEAL PAIRING

Zardetto Prosecco DOC Rosé is the ideal companion of every joyful cheers with friends. At the same time, it is perfect with avocado and shrimp’s salad, cream cheese tarts and raw shellfish.

PRODUCTION AREA

Various vineyards in the Prosecco DOC region, in Veneto and Friuli Venezia Giulia. The soils are mainly clay based, with some gravelly spots close to the main rivers.

COMPOSITION

Glera with up to 15% Pinot Noir.

VINIFICATION

Intense, elegant and silky rosé obtained through a very brief contact with the skins (only 2-3 hours). After second fermentations, wine left to rest in stainless steel tanks at 52° F for about three months, developing fresh violet notes and the typical velvety tannins. The raboso veronese gives notes of blackberry, raspberry, black currant, as well as an elegant acid structure.
